The hearing for the Clark County Comprehensive Plan Update Preferred Alternative is on Monday, April 27th at 4pm—just 7 days away! We need you to help us advocate for a sustainable future balancing growth, the preservation of prime agricultural land, and meaningful climate action in Clark County. Written comment must be sent by this Friday!
Other ways to engage this week include an open public comment opportunity at Tuesday’s Clark County Council meeting, tuning in for the Agricultural Advisory Commission meeting, and getting caught up on last week’s meetings on transportation, homelessness, parks, and the Clark County charter.

- Submitting written comment by Friday morning, April 24th (1 business day in advance of the hearing)
- Planning to attend the hearing on Monday, April 27th (starting at 4pm) and testify in-person, online, or come to support the speakers

TUESDAY, APRIL 21ST
Clark County Council meeting at 6pm: Meeting information

- Open public comment opportunity: Testify about any topic for up to 3 minutes
- Request approval Washington State Department of Commerce Salmon Recovery through Local Planning Grant
- Request approval to implement Phase 2: Clark County Rural Lands Canopy Assessment and Phase 3: Clark County Tree Canopy Management Plan. The Project will also implement goals and policies from the Clark County Climate Element of the Comp Plan update
- Request approval to amend the Environmental Services Cooperative Agreement (ESCA) between Clark County and the United States of America concerning the cleanup of the former Camp Bonneville Military Reservation
- Request approval of an Employee Agreement between Clark County and Kathleen Otto
