Agricultural Advisory Commission Update

It has been a LONG road to get here, but the inaugural Agricultural Advisory Commission is kicking off this spring!
The initial commission will include the following representatives:
- Zorah Oppenheimer representing the Clark County Conservation District
- Amy Treasure representing the Cowlitz Tribe. Amy is also the owner of C&R Treasure Farms.
- Ruud Van Der Salm representing the Agricultural Processing Industry. Ruud is the General Manager of the Vancouver-based bulb company: Our American Roots.
- Holly Hansen representing Consumers of Agriculture Products. Holly is the owner of the Second Mile Marketplace.
- Diane Dempster as the Expert in Agricultural Programs. Diane is on the board of the Tilth Alliance, the Clark County Food Systems Council, and Friends of Clark County.

- Justin Burger of Burger Family Farm
- Matthew Comwell
- Kevin Dobbins of Dobbins Farms
- Dillon Haggerty of Dilish Farm
- Isaiah Irish of Busy Beetle Farm
- Mo McKenna of MoMo Flower Farm
- Joe Zimmerman of Bi-Zi Farms
The Commission will also have 3 Ex-Officio Member Seats. Thalia Puentes Fernandez representing the youth seat, Justin O’Dea from WSU-Extension, the Natural Resource Conservation District will be unfilled.
