Honoring Ann Foster: Join us for a Very Special Dinner with Friends

August 27, 2026 in Comprehensive Plan & Growth Management Act, Events & Fundraising

This Dinner with Friends on September 13th will not be one to miss, as we are honoring our President, Ann Foster, who will soon be retiring from Friends of Clark County’s Board of Directors.

Ann came to Friends of Clark County many years ago to fulfill her vision of a robust local food system for our region, and has worked diligently on two Comprehensive Plan Update cycles alongside us. One of Ann’s proudest accomplishments with FOCC and community partners is having steadfastly advocated for the Clark County Agricultural Advisory Commission since 2015, seeing it all the way through to fruition when it was finally established at the end of 2024.

Ann has served as FOCC’s President for 4 years, and fortunately committed to serving out the completion of the current Comp Plan Update process. Her legacy at FOCC will live on and her presence will be missed, but we know her passion and skill is not going anywhere. Ann intends to stay connected with advocacy work on the local food system and will remain within reach.

So, come not only to celebrate FOCC’s accomplishments this year and to sustain us for the work ahead, but also to honor Ann Foster’s years of service with Friends!

This year’s Dinner with Friends will take place at Cedars Public House in Brush Prairie, WA on September 13th from 4 to 7pm—just about 2 weeks away!
