On April 28th, the majority of the Clark County Council voted to adopt a preferred alternative that needlessly expands urban growth boundaries, destroys prime farmland, and will exacerbate urban sprawl and the climate crisis.

TUESDAY, MAY 5TH
Clark County Council meeting at 10am: Meeting information
Items of note:
- Open public comment opportunity: testify for up to 3 minutes on any topic (this is a chance to let the Council know how you feel about last week’s Preferred Alternative decision). Warning: there are 3 public hearings before open public comment.
- Public Hearing: Capital Technical Adjustment Budget Supplemental
- Public Hearing: 2026 Annual Action Plan
- Public Hearing: Current Use Applications
- Request for approval for Clark County and Washington State Department of Natural Resources to establish a forward operating base for helicopter operations at Camp Bonneville.
WEDNESDAY, MAY 6TH
Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC) work session at 9am: Meeting information
2025 Waste Characterization Study work session after the 9am BPAC work session: Meeting information
The Waste Characterization study is a systematic analysis of the types and amounts of materials entering the waste stream.
