FOCC’s Spring Fundraiser has been EXTENDED! Thank you for your support during the Give Big fundraising campaign. Since we did not meet our fundraising goal, we are extending our spring fundraising drive. Please consider a donation or share with friends and family about how much you appreciate our work!

    • There was a hearing on the Neighborhood Traffic Management Program, a lively discussion on fireworks, and a brief discussion on the Sustainable Futures – Parks and Nature Funding Charter regarding the creation of a task team to develop a funding plan to meet the level of service parks standards (Clark County is currently in a steep deficit regarding adequate parks and open space, with the population projected to grow substantially) to fulfill the county’s Parks, Recreation, and Open Space (PROS) Plan.   • This week:
    • Due to a lack of a quorum, there will be NO Clark County Council meetings this week.
  • Heads up on other advisory board and commission meetings:
    • Friday, May 30, 2025 7:00 AM is the Bicycle & Pedestrian Advisory Committee – “Policymaker’s Event” at the Public Service Center Plaza, 1300 Franklin Street, Vancouver, WA 98660.
  • Other happenings:
    • SAVE THE DATE for FOCC’s forum, Planning for our Collective Future: the Final Stretch of the Comprehensive Plan Update, which will take place on Wednesday, June 18th from 5 – 6:30 pm Pacific Time, Remote via Zoom. Panelists will include Clark County Councilmember Wil Fuentes, Jenna Kay, Senior Land Use Planner for Clark County, and Bryan Snodgrass of the City of Vancouver! We’ll send out an event RSVP soon, but for now, save the date!
